Treasury

Treasury is a basic fiscal unit & the focal point for the primary record of all financial transactions of the Govt. in the District. Treasury is the King Pin of financial administration in the State. The Kalimpong Treasury has already stated computerized operation of processing of the bills and other functions from the year 2005. The different sections of Kalimpong Treasury are as Pay Section, Receipt Section, Compilation Section, Stamp Section and Pension Section. Presently there are 55 numbers of DDO’s under the payment control of Kalimpong Treasury. It also acts as a Custodian of valuables, Question Papers and answer Scripts of different examinations.
